Patnem beach is an appealing alternative to south Goa’s popular Palolem beach for those who don’t want to be right in the middle of the action but still want some entertainment.
Patnem beach stretches for several hundred meters, with palm-tree headlands at both ends. The Arabian Sea is inviting with an unthreatening but exciting swell when the wind picks up.
Salida del Sol is located at a North side of Patnem beach. We opened our mini resort in 2012 and since then we developed our special relaxed atmosphere combined with friendly service and neat ambience. We have also managed to build a nice family-like crowd of dedicated and loyal guests of Salida del Sol. Which makes us believe that we do something right around here.
As a small institution we are able to give each guest a very personal attention and you know what – we have time to just chat with you!
Since the very beginning we have 8 beach huts and 2 stone rooms and for the season 2016-2017 we are building 4 more elevated roof top huts. Our huts and rooms are equipped with all necessities like mosquito nets, fans, hot water (heated by solar energy) shower etc.
And our restaurant has a mixture of tables and seats but most guests’ favourite are our lounges with huge colourful cushions where you can sit back and enjoy a meal or stretch out and relax with a cocktail or chilled beer.
If you get bored of simply sunbathing, enjoying our food and drinks or reading books we are ready to share some inside details and hidden gems in and around Patnem with you.
Massage, yoga or meditation, fishing or dolphin watching boat trip, visiting spice farm or Portuguese heritage in Goa, renting a scooter or Royal Enfield and driving around to enjoy Goan scenery, shopping or cooking classes – you name it. We are here to advice and organise these and other incredible experiences for you.
And for those who cannot live without technologies, emails & news we provide a free Wi-Fi access (it works most of the time).
Salida del sol is your place to relax & spend a serene holiday.
